The manager at the Brooksville store. What's the worry about her?
Watch that she forgot to neutralize the her period and she did a second perm. Which frized out my hair period I have given an ample number of time with top of the line products to see if this would fix out. And after calling her, she got really nasty and refused a refund. She also did not do what I wanted.
I stated I wanted a tight curl on top and a medium curl on bottom and she decided to do what she wanted to do. Come to find out your manager has only had experience with doing one perm. My hair is now instead of going to be a low maintenance. You're going to be a high maintenance problem including with cost of hair products, which I do not want from your store as she offered , And time consuming.
I asked her to trim and cut the hair prior to the perm.
And she did not do so my bangs are hanging past my nose. And the ends are still looking frizzy. The top portion of the hair did not curl. It actually just frizzed from having a double perm she was so concerned about her timer watch not working for the time accountability , she wasn't paying attention to what she was doing.
She forgot to neutralize it when she pulled the rods out and then reperm the hair instead of rolling them back and putting on the neutralizer. I have had perms before. So I have given this more than ample amount of time with hair care products of argon oil and leaving conditioners and it is not fixing the problem. She did not tell me that it was a seven day policy.
And she knew she messed up. I never should have been charged.

My hair is messed up she you tuned on how to cut my hair
I walked in I showed her my hairstyle. She said yes its just layers I get in the chair she runs to the back was back there for a couple minutes comes back and starts cutting my hair.
I see that she is doing it wrong so I tell her you want me to show you the picture again she says now girl I was in the back watching YouTube on how to do it YouTube because she has never done layers and I asked her before I even sit in her chair if she could do it she assured me she could, but then went to the back to watch YouTube and now my hair is two different links. I have to walk sideways just to have even hair.

User's recommendation: I paid about $42 for a $19.99 haircut because the stylist made 2 or 3 enhancements which doubled the price? What were the extras? She never asked me to do the extras. Can you look up my bill using my name (Lela Simco) and the store in McAlester, OK about 6 weeks ago?I say AVOID this salon because I went back for a correction and the store manager was no better. Her results speak volumes-awful fuzzy ends that cannot be tamed with any product.

Poor customer service
I have been to the Smart Style Salon in Walmart in Glendale on 83rd for about four years now. About three times a year I buy my Biolage shampoo and conditioner at this location.
A couple of months ago, I went here to buy my Biolage Detangling conditioner and accidently bought the conditioning balm which is very thick. So, about 10 days ago, I went to the salon to try and exchange the balm for the liquid conditioner. I was told that I needed my receipt, but I had thrown it some time ago. Then I was told to come back when the manager was there and she could help me.
On my second trip back, I was told the same thing and the manage was not there. Today, I went back with a copy of my bank statement to show them my debit card purchase and I only wanted to exchange the balm for the liquid conditioner. Then the manage told me that it has to by returned within 7 days for the exchange.and no exceptions. I proceeded to get mad and said I would take my business else where and she said that was fine.
How does a small business like this *** off and lose a customer for good over just an exchange. Good by for good Smart Style!!!

The hairstylist ruined my hair and the manager was absolutely horrible to me
Its very sad that I went in there and asked for a cut and layers. I told the stylist I am currently undergoing chemotherapy.
So my hair is very precious to me. She told me she was going to shave some peach fuzz. I assumed that meant little hair on the back of my neck. But no, she SHAVED OFF some of my ACTUAL hair!!!
Then she told me to come back in May and she would give me layers. So, she shaved me then refused the cut I asked for. I called and spoke with the manager who was just as HATEFUL as the hairstylist. My hair is not going to grow back for a very very long time.
So her shaving it upset me so much. I really hope that the manager and stylist are ashamed at themselves for treating me this way.
My family and I have been going here for cuts, colors and to have our hair styled for 5+ years. Needless to say, we will not be back.
