Smartstyle - Worse Experience Ever
I called to get prices on highlights and cut before I went into the salon. I wrote everything the lady stated on paper and took it with me including her name.
The lady stated to be there by 4:00 p.m. as they can't take a highlight after 4:00 p.m. I arrived at 3:30 p.m. and the only stylist there said she couldn't do a highlight that I was too late to get one.
I stated what the other lady told me and that I had drove an hour to get there. She hesitantly signed me in. Instead of doing the package I wanted with 15 foils and a cut/style she suggested doing the higher price package which I went ahead and done. She ended up only putting in 10 foils and didn't use the color I asked for.
I asked why she didn't use all the foils and she stated I only needed 10, well I'm paying for more than 10 foils so put them somewhere and she refused. She didn't put any toner on my hair and I asked for it because my hair always turns orange if no toner. She stated I didn't need any toner. She trimmed 1/2 inch off my hair and stated I needed a big layer which I stated I don't think I would like a layer, well she layered it without my consent.
She stated I needed to let it air dry and I didn't get a style at all which was included in the package. At checkout she charged me the higher price package, that I didn't get. I even suggested the smaller priced package since I didn't get all the foils, but no it was a higher price package that I didn't get. I walked out looking like a pumpkin, layered, frizz ball.
I'm so disgusted and disappointed with this lady and salon. Attended today 11-11-17.
I'm unemployed and have been saving my money for 2 months to get a good highlight and it was 2 months of savings thrown out the window. :-(
Reason of review: Pricing issue.
Monetary Loss: $45.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
Smartstyle Cons: Stylist knowledge and pricing, Not what i asked for.
